Is it possible to preview a DVD course (workbook and DVDs) before purchasing?
Yes, just contact us and let us know which course(s) you would like to preview and we will have them shipped to you directly.
Can our university library place the order for these courses?
Yes, many schools have purchased courses on DVD through their
library (and library budget). If you do purchase the University Edition
through your library, you might consider also ordering a Student
Edition of each course you purchase. Then, have the Student Edition put
on the Library shelf and keep the University Edition with Faculty Guide
in your office. The Faculty Guide has multiple choice test questions
and answers (and should be kept in your office).
Can you explain a bit more about the Student Edition?
Any school that has purchased the University Edition of one of our
courses on DVD is eligible to place orders for Student Editions of that
same course. The Student Edition includes all of the DVDs and
comprehensive Workbook. Many schools are using the Student Edition as a
required text—with highly positive feedback from their students (see
Faculty Reviews). The students love the videos of patient treatment and
often refer back to them when on their fieldwork.
Can our students order a Student Edition if they aren’t a required text?
Yes, any student of a school that has purchased the University Edition
of one of our courses on DVD can order a Student Edition for their own
use.
Are the courses on DVD appropriate for classes in our curriculum other than Neuro?
Many schools have students purchase the Student Edition in their
first semester and then use specific chapters during each semester.
Here are just a few of the classes where professors have used our
courses on DVD (see Faculty Reviews): Intervention Techniques,
Disorders of Human Performance, Theories in Motor Learning (lab),
Geriatrics Intervention, and the Cardio/Pulmonary section of Patient
Care I.
