Home Study Courses on DVD

Once I order a Home Study course on DVD, how long before it arrives?
Most orders ship within a day and nearly all orders ship within 2 business days.

Our orders ship UPS ground (from Washington state), which means orders to the West Coast arrive in 2 business days and orders to the East Coast may take 5 business days. If you include your email address at the time you order we will make sure UPS sends you the tracking information.

Help! I’m in a hurry – is a “rush” order possible?
Yes, for an additional price we can ship your Home Study course on DVD overnight, 2-day or 3-day air. Call or email our office (see Contact Us) for more information.

Is there a time limit on completing the course on DVD?
You can take as long as you want to complete your Home Study course. There is no expiration date and your certificate will be dated with the actual date of completion that you include in the forms that are sent back to our office.

Can I purchase a course on DVD this year and get credit next year?
Yes! Many therapists and therapy departments purchase our Home Study courses to earn continuing ed. credit at a later date. If you have enough CEUs for this year, keep the course until next year. Remember, if 2 or more courses are purchased, you receive a significant discount! Also, if your department has continuing education funds that need to be used, our programs can be purchased and used at any time.

Can I share my DVDs with other therapists?
Yes! In order to make our Home Study courses as affordable as possible, we allow therapists to share the DVDs. If you know someone who has the DVDs and they are willing to let you view them, just ask them for their Video Registration number (it’s stamped in their 3-ring binder Workbook) and another Workbook (with exam, assignments, etc.) can be ordered. We call this our ‘CEU Package’. This allows you (or anyone else) the possibility of earning 15 contact hours for just $95!

Do I need to pay sales tax?
Only shipments to California and Washington State pay sales tax. No sales tax is required for any other shipments.

Are special prices available for groups?
If a large department or group of therapists are interested in ordering our Home Study programs, contact our office for information on group discounts.

Do I also need to purchase a CEU Package with the Home Study course on DVD?
No, each Home Study course on DVD allows one person to earn 15 contact hours.

If more than one person would like to earn 15 hours, then purchase one CEU Package for each person interested.

Can my co-workers purchase CEU Packages next year if I buy this now?
Yes! CEU Packages can be purchased any time and at any future date.

Can I keep my DVDs?
Yes, the DVDs are yours to keep. They are not a rental and never need to be returned.

What if my DVDs become lost or damaged?
If you lose or damage your DVDs, contact our office and you can purchase replacement DVDs at a discounted price.

I purchased my Home Study course(s) years ago. Can I exchange my VHS tapes for DVDs?
Yes, as long as we have a record of your purchase in our database, you can buy an “upgrade” to DVD.

Can I fax my completed forms and assignments back to you?
We would prefer that you mail your paperwork instead of faxing it.

We are hoping to offer online options in 2010.

How long will It take me to go through the program?
Each Home Study program earns 15 contact hours. This was determined as the average amount of time it took to complete the course (watch the videos, practice the labs, do the assignments, read the Workbook and take the exam). Some people take less time; others may take longer.

What is the charge for shipping international orders?
International shipping rates must be determined on an individual basis. Please contact our office if you are interested in having one of our courses shipped overseas.
