Video Library Expands!
21 new video clips, filmed in high-definition with orthopedics diagnoses, are now available to universities. The Video Library, currently being used by over 30 universities nationwide, will be pleased to know that we have spent the past several months filming during treatment sessions with diagnoses including total hip replacement (THR), total knee replacement (TKR) and rotator cuff repair.
The Video Library will continue to expand with additional video clips and diagnoses in the coming months. Stay tuned!
The following are sample video clips taken from the ICE Video Library for Universities. Each week, for 6 weeks, we filmed Paula (dx: total knee replacement) during her physical therapy sessions. Mitzi Hazard, PT (wound specialist, pedorthist and diabetes educator) offers insights and treatment tips during her initial treatment session.
- Total Knee Replacement: Initial Exam (2:39 min)
- Total Knee Replacement: Measuring ROM (2:47 min)
- Total Knee Replacement: Ambulation Training (4:19 min)
- Total Knee Replacement: Balance Disc (2:10 min)

New Video Tutorials
I’ve created 3 new Video Tutorials demonstrating safe and effective methods that protect our back and, at the same time, facilitate normal movement components for the patient.
These methods do not require ‘lifting’ the patient and even small, petite therapists can be effective. Share the ‘Two-person Max Assist’ with your nursing staff ~ it will save their backs and protect your patient’s shoulders!
The videos are excerpts from two of our Home Study Courses on DVD:
- Teaching Independence: A Therapeutic Approach to Stroke Rehabilitation
- Treatment Strategies in the Acute Care of Stroke Survivors
